STCRA Outline of Events for 2013
We have planned a variety of events for this year and hope that you will all support and enjoy them. Details will be sent by email or flyer but meanwhile please make a note in your diary!
Local election hustings Thursday 11th April 7.30pm St Chads Hall
At present Andrew Bannerman, Liberal Democrat standing for Town and Shropshire Councils, Carol Foster, Conservative for Shropshire Council and Ashley Davies, Conservative for Town Council, John Lewis, Labour Party For Shropshire and Town Councils. Tea, Coffee and Biscuits.
Third highest church spire in England? St Mary’s unwrapped! Wednesday 15th May 6.30pm St Mary’s Church and ‘Eat up’ restaurant (Milk Street)
A St Mary’s guide will give us a tour of the church with its wonderful history: about 45 minutes.
Garden Party Saturday 6th July
Enjoy wine and canapés in one of the hidden gardens of Shrewsbury. All monies are donated to charity. Venue and date tbd.
Meal followed by River Cruise September
Hoping for that Indian Summer, we plan to have a meal in a restaurant near the river and then a cruise for an hour afterwards.
